Cove Feeding Hub – Creating Connected Mealtimes

At Cove Feeding Hub, we’re a team of passionate professionals dedicated to supporting families as they navigate the unique challenges of feeding and health. We understand that mealtimes can be overwhelming for some children and families, and we’re here to make the process easier, more enjoyable, and empowering for everyone involved.

We take the time to truly understand your family’s individual needs and experiences. Whether your child finds eating challenging, has difficulty sitting at the table, or has sensory or gut health differences, we bring together holistic support that respects and values your family’s unique journey.

Our goal isn’t just short-term help – we aim to build long-term success and independence by fostering confidence and self-advocacy. We don’t believe in endless therapy sessions; instead, we focus on comprehensive assessments and collaborative planning so your family feels empowered to manage mealtimes in ways that work best for you.

Additionally, we work closely with a trusted network of dietitian’s, medical specialists, dentists, and other professionals who share our commitment to respectful, individualised care.

Approach to supporting autistic individuals:

At Cove Feeding Hub, we recognise every child and family is unique, and we approach autism with respect and understanding. We focus on supporting strengths, individual differences, and sensory needs, rather than expecting children to eat in a specific way or stick to a set mealtime routine.

Our services are neurodiversity-affirming, prioritising flexibility, choice, and collaboration. Sessions are adapted to each child’s comfort and preferences, including parent-only sessions, alternative seating, sensory supports, or a calmer environment.

We support autistic children to express themselves authentically, respecting their sensory preferences, communication styles, and emotional regulation. Our goal is to empower families, foster confidence and independence, and make mealtimes positive, manageable, and meaningful for everyone.
