At Diet Physics, we specialise in helping neurodivergent children and teens, including those with autism and ARFID, build a healthier relationship with food. Our approach is neuro-affirming, recognising the unique sensory, behavioural, and emotional needs that can impact eating.
Using the SOS Approach to Feeding, we provide evidence-based strategies to support children who experience fussy eating, food avoidance, or mealtime anxiety. Our services include tailored feeding therapy, nutrition support for ARFID and sensory-based eating challenges, and guidance for families navigating mealtimes with neurodivergent children.
We work with NDIS participants, offering both individual consultations and structured programs to help families reduce stress around food while supporting their child’s nutritional needs. Our goal is to create positive, pressure-free mealtime experiences that respect each child’s sensory profile and developmental stage.

2 weeks agoFor months, I was dealing with a recent GERD diagnosis that was causing significant issues with my digestion, sleep, and overall health. I constantly felt bloated and uncomfortable, struggling with a sore throat, post-nasal drip, and constipation. I felt and looked terrible. Within just a few weeks of seeing Emma, everything began to change. She systematically addressed each of my concerns, providing a thorough and clear summary after every session. Her support extended beyond the clinic, and I truly felt she was with me every step of the way. Today, my GERD is completely under control, and my sleep quality has improved dramatically. I can confidently say I will never stop seeing Emma. The investment in my health and her expertise has been completely worth it. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Jodi D. Buderim.

3 months agoWe saw Emma from Diet Physics to help with my seven-year-old son's extremely picky eating. Emma was warm, approachable, and highly professional. She explained everything clearly, helping me understand not only what my son was experiencing but also the possible reasons behind his restricted eating. Emma provided us with a practical, easy-to-follow plan that has already led to significant improvements. My son is now more willing to try new foods, has reintroduced several items he previously refused, and is happily following the meal plan, greatly expanding his food range. I felt very supported throughout the process. Emma listened thoughtfully, offered expert insight into our challenges, and gave encouraging, realistic recommendations specific to my son's needs. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable dietitian—especially if you're navigating picky eating particularly relating to neurodivergence.

3 months agoI was referred by a friend to come speak to Emma about some of my poor eating habits that I had picked up due to my late night work schedule and as soon as I started talking to her she made me feel at ease and helped me find a schedule that works really well with sleep and work schedule. I am now managing to lose weight and keep a steady healthy weight. Was worth every dollar and I would highly recommend you come speak to her about any questions or issues your having

5 months agoEmma was a great help in teaching me portion control and creating a meal plan that was actually realistic and easy to follow. She managed to make it show it wasn't overly restrictive — it even allowed for the occasional sneaky night in with takeout! The advice was practical, personalised, and made a real difference in how I approach food. Highly recommend!
