Looking for a capacity-building holiday program for neurodivergent (ASD) children & youth? Join Coast Tech Labs to design a fully interactive version of South-East QLD in Minecraft!
Led collaboratively by a Software Engineer (Joel Biddle) and a Paediatric OT (Lauren Bezuidenhout) participants work in small teams using the Create mod, Redstone, and Python coding, then UX test their worlds in VR. We also have two support workers supporting the group for a 1:3 ratio.
Coast Tech Labs has run similar successful capacity building holiday programs over Summer 2026 and Easter 2026, as well as term-time programs in Term 1 and Term 2 at the University of the Sunshine Coast (Sippy Downs), the Arts & Ecology Centre @ Maroochy Botanic Gardens, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve and the University of Queensland (St Lucia). Please see reviews on the FB site here: Coast Tech Labs Facebook page.
