At Be You Artistry, you will learn everything from the basics of how to use certain brushes to creating dramatic makeup looks while making social connections with other participants.

Self-care is a big part of our space, whether it’s learning skincare or creating a safe environment to explore self expression. You can attend sessions with us even if you have no prior makeup experience; we will be your glam guides as you navigate the world of beauty.

These sessions are best suited for ages 10+. Each class is run in small groups of up to 6 participants, giving each individual the chance to socialize in a safe friendly environment that is more intimate. Also allowing for participants to connect with other members of the class and create friendships.

With the help of our staff, our clients can work towards conquering their self or plan managed NDIS goals of socializing in the community, stepping outside their comfort zones, making new friends, and building new skills.

We welcome support workers to attend classes to assist participants if they need. We run multiple group sessions during the week & social events on weekends.

We work with participants to ensure you are placed into a group with those who share similar interests and who we think would connect well together. This program is open to, including Self & Plan managed NDIS clients and the general public. All our programs are NDIS claimable under the following codes.

Approach to supporting autistic individuals:

Our business recognizes autism as a unique neurodevelopmental condition that shapes the experiences and perspectives of individuals. We approach autism with a commitment to understanding its complexities and celebrating the diversity it brings to our community. This understanding informs our strategies and practices, ensuring that we create an inclusive environment where autistic individuals feel valued and respected.

In practical terms, we provide services that are explicitly designed to be neurodiversity-affirming. This includes tailored support programs that focus on the strengths and preferences of autistic individuals, rather than attempting to conform them to neurotypical standards. Our staff is trained in neurodiversity principles, enabling them to offer empathetic and effective assistance that respects each person's unique way of processing the world.

Furthermore, we actively support autistic individuals in expressing their identities authentically by fostering an environment that encourages self-advocacy and personal expression. We also prioritize accommodating individual sensory needs by providing sensory-friendly spaces and resources, allowing individuals to engage in ways that are comfortable and fulfilling for them. This holistic approach not only enhances the well-being of autistic individuals but also enriches our community as a whole.
