I provide compassionate, neuro-affirming support for parents and carers of autistic and neurodivergent children, as well as for neurodivergent adults navigating life’s challenges. As a qualified counsellor (Dip. Couns, Bpsych, ACA registered), I take a person-centred approach, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.

I understand the emotional and practical complexities that come with parenting a neurodivergent child, from advocacy and overwhelm to self-care and family dynamics. My goal is to create a supportive space where parents and carers feel heard, validated, and empowered.

For neurodivergent adults, I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore personal growth, relationships, stress management, and self-acceptance. I embrace a neuro-affirming perspective, which means I respect and celebrate neurodiversity, focusing on strengths rather than deficits. My approach is not about ‘fixing’ but about supporting each individual in finding their own flow in life.

Sessions are available via Telehealth, making support accessible no matter where you are.

Approach

I see autism as a natural and valuable way of experiencing the world. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, which means I focus on understanding and supporting each person’s strengths, needs, and preferred ways of communicating, rather than trying to “fix” or change who they are.

I adapt sessions to suit each client. This might mean offering online or in-person options, going at a comfortable pace, using clear communication, allowing breaks, and supporting different ways of expressing thoughts and feelings.

I encourage autistic clients to be themselves and not feel pressured to hide their differences. I respect stimming, preferred communication styles, and routines, and I’m happy to adjust the environment (like lighting or sound) or support the use of sensory tools.

My aim is to create a safe space where autistic individuals feel understood, accepted, and valued for who they are.
