At Ebb & Flow Play Therapy, we believe every child holds within them an incredible capacity for healing, connection, and growth. Sometimes children carry big experiences in little bodies — and they don’t always have the words to tell us. That’s okay. Play is their language, and it’s ours too. Within a warm, safe, and accepting space, children are gently supported to express what’s on the inside, build on their own strengths, and discover new ways to feel settled, capable, and connected, at home, at school, and in the world around them. Whether you’re a parent navigating something hard or a professional seeking collaborative support, you’re welcome here. We’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll walk alongside you.
Ebb & Flow Play Therapy offers a range of evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic services for children and families in South East Queensland. Led by Emma Cooper (BEd, MCPT), services include Initial Intake Consultations, Child-Centred Play Therapy, Filial Therapy (by Rise Van Fleet), Learn to Play, Theraplay, Circle of Security, and LEGO Serious Play, alongside Service Contact support, including advocacy and observations. Each approach is tailored to the individual child’s needs, honouring their strengths and meeting them where they are developmentally. Ebb & Flow Play Therapy welcomes children with autism and other neurodivergent profiles, offering a safe, sensory-considered space where children can express, explore, and grow at their own pace. Services are available to privately paying families and NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants, with locations in Northern and Southern Gold Coast, QLD.
