At Growing Us Play Therapy, I believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard and supported in ways that honour their unique neurobiology, strengths and experiences. Play is a child’s first language – a natural, intuitive way they express themselves, process and understand their world. Through a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and relationship-focused approach, I harness the therapeutic powers of play to help children build self-awareness, emotional regulation and resilience.
As a Master-qualified Play Therapist, former teacher and the founder of Growing Us, I provide holistic, evidence-based therapy for children aged 3-10 and their families. My practice embraces the whole child, supporting their development across key areas including communication, learning, mobility, self-care, social interaction and self-management. Through Play Therapy, I support children to grow in confidence, emotional expression, problem-solving skills and self-advocacy.
I also work closely with caregivers and professionals to create a holistic support system that meets children where they are and nurtures their unique development. Whether facing challenges with emotional regulation, social interactions or self-esteem, Growing Us Play Therapy is a place where children’s natural ways of being are celebrated, where the therapeutic approach is appropriate to the development of the child, and where every child feels unconditionally accepted, nurtured and supported.

2 months agoGinny is amazing!! We were struggling with a very trying toddler with tantrums & getting frustrated with each other & the situation. Ginny came in & helped us understand our child & work in ways to reduce all of our stress. Could not recommend enough !

2 months agoOur play therapy journey began with Ginny when my son spent some time working with her. During that period, he built such a strong connection with her, and the progress he made in her sessions was clearly evident. Ginny is calm, accommodating, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. We also participated in Filial Therapy with her as a family, and that experience was deeply meaningful. The insights we gained from it were extremely valuable and have stayed with us. I would highly recommend Ginny to anyone looking for compassionate, professional support for their child and family.
