I am a neurodivergent (AuDHD) qualified, registered Counsellor and therapeutic Play Practitioner (ACA/PACFA/APTTA/APTA). I specialise in working specifically with neurodivergent children, teens and adults – either self-identified or diagnosed, to help them to understand their brains & nervous systems, empowering them to live as their authentic selves, providing support to work through trauma that often occurs as a neurodivergent individual.

I am a qualified Early Childhood educator, and hold a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Counselling and post-graduate studies in Autism & Neurodiversity, Play Therapy and Mental Health & Neuroscience. I am a certified Circle of Security Facilitator and provide neuro-affirming attachment-focused education and coaching to parents to empower and support them to make informed, educated parenting decisions that work best for meeting their children’s individual needs.

I have spent the last 25 years working in both Early Childhood education and disability, and have lived experience of over 20 years of parenting neurodivergent children. I work in a neuro-affirming, strengths-focused, attachment-centred style and utilise evidence-based practices such as child-centred play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment-focused therapy & emotion-focused therapy and incorporate trauma-informed practice into all that I do.

I am also the owner of the InsideOut Evolution Therapy Clinic, where InsideOut Child & Family Therapy operates out of. This space was designed specifically for neurodivergent children and families, incorporating sensory needs and accommodating families by offering services by other qualified, registered counsellors who are available to support your whole family at the same appointment time, reducing demands on your family and empowering wholistic growth and change.
