Hi there! I am a Sunshine Coast Clinical Psychologist experienced in working with neurodivergent individuals of all ages. I mainly work with adolescents (14+) and adults seeking therapy or diagnostic assessment for autism and/or ADHD.

In therapy, I work with clients who are looking for help navigating challenges like anxiety, intrusive thoughts, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and relationship issues. I often support clients with unmasking and finding their neurodivergent identity, or processing past trauma.

I use a range of therapy approaches, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and schema therapy. I know that many autistic clients and ADHDers have had negative and non-affirming experiences in therapy before, so I am always looking to make creative adaptations to make sure I am helping you the best I can.

My assessments are comprehensive and designed to help you feel comfortable and supported throughout. My reports avoid stigmatising and ableist language, and I focus on providing recommendations that can support you to achieve your personalised goals rather than putting you in a “box”.

I look forward to welcoming you to my practice if you feel we would be a good fit to work together. I offer sessions in-person on the Sunshine Coast and Telehealth sessions Australia wide.c

Approach

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming - I see neurodivergent brains as neurotypes with differences rather than deficits. My practice values are Listening and Understanding (providing a safe space, being non-judgmental), Embracing Neurodiversity, and providing an Individualised Approach. I have a strong focus on learning from those with lived experience to inform my practice. Much of my professional development (in providing both therapy and assessments) has been led by neurodivergent clinicians, so you can be sure that I am trained in neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

I support autistic individuals to express their identity authentically by supporting my clients to explore what this means to them, in a non-judgmental space. I accept and celebrate neurodivergent forms of expression and communication in every interaction. I welcome clients to share their sensory needs with me to ensure the environment can be as safe and comforting as possible.
