This is a NDIS-supported activity that allows you to access the community whilst feeling emotionally supported and safe.
The group will be going to Zone Bowling Mt Gravatt!
Join a group of amazing young people who are inclusive and find joy in each other’s uniqueness. We are a person-centered service that endeavor’s to support young people with disabilities. To encourage them to develop confidence and independence whilst feeling safe in the community.
Our goal is to support them to discover new experiences without the overwhelm or the initial feeling of dread that can occur in many neurodivergent people.
School Holiday Activity days include:
Group-based activities to support social skill development
Building on your executive functioning skills
Hands-on life skill experiences (planning, teamwork)
Support staff highly trained in working with youth with disability
Small and supportive groups
Pre-program NDIS-reporting and documentation, including: independent care plans for all participants to ensure a positive experience
This program may be suitable for young people aged 5–18 and may be claimable under individual NDIS plans as part of Capacity Building and Core Supports. We support all families to ensure it aligns with your NDIS goals.
With a balance of fun, learning and support, this program offers a chance to create lasting friendships, develop life skills and build memories to be proud of!
