Hi, my name is Francesca, and I’m a AuDHD Developmental Educator and the founder of NeuroConnections, a neuroaffirming and strengths-based support service for autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan.

With a background in Psychology, Education, Disability and Behaviour Support, I provide support tailored to each person’s unique neurotype, communication style, sensory profile, strengths, and goals. My work focuses on helping individuals better understand themselves, build confidence and self-advocacy skills, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and navigate daily life in ways that are sustainable and authentic for them.

Services include, but not limited to:
• Autism and ADHD-informed capacity building
• Emotional regulation and wellbeing support
• Executive functioning and daily living support
• Identity, self-understanding, and self-advocacy
• Support for burnout, sensory needs, and accommodations
• Parent and family support
• Neuroaffirming education and collaborative strategies
• Support tailored for LGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse individuals and families

I aim to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where you feel understood rather than “fixed.” My approach is relational, flexible, and grounded in neurodiversity-affirming practice.

I have current availability for:
• Telehealth sessions Australia-wide
• In-person support in the Brisbane area

Feel free to connect with me, ask questions and/or chat to see if I could be a good fit for you!

Training/Certification of note:

  • Master of Autism and Neurodivergence
  • Master and Bachelor Degrees in Cognitive/Behavioural Neuroscience
  • Trauma-focused ACT certification
  • Polyvagal Trauma Treatment Therapy certification (currently completing).

Approach to supporting autistic individuals

I draw evidence from the current research in the neuroscience of the brain and nervous system; disability, social justice and intersectionality theories; and the lived experience of the people in the autistic community. I am also autistic and neurodivergence runs in our family, in different shapes and forms!

My work is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and strengths-based because:
- I don't try to change or "fix" you!
- I take your lead (you are in control!) and work with you collaboratively to support you navigating the word in a way that suits your needs.
- I help you developing the skills that you want to acquire to reach your goals.
- I am compassionate, gentle and nurturing - you set the pace!
- I respect and accommodate your needs and empower you to advocate for your rights.
- I honour your preferences and ensure that the support I offer is tailored for you.
- I offer strategies and supports that are practical, meaningful and sustainable.
- I don't choose your goals, you do!
