A game night for neurodivergent friends, fortnightly on Thursdays!
- Game Variety: We have a selection of board and card games but you’re welcome to bring your favourite board games to share, tabletop games, or card games, and enjoy a night filled with fun and camaraderie. Whether you’re into strategy games, party games, or something else, there’s a place for you here.
- Supportive Environment: Lakeside Allied Health is committed to creating a space where neurodivergent individuals can feel truly at home. We encourage participants to be themselves, but ask that everyone contributes to maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere. There is no loud music or flashing lights and strictly no alcohol.
- What’s Included: We will provide a selection of games, help you meet other people and best of all provide pizza and soft drink (or juice).
- Focus on Neurodivergent Attendees: To maintain focus on neurodivergent participants, we request that neurotypical guests only attend if they are there in a supportive role. Your understanding helps create an environment that truly caters to the needs of the neurodivergent community.
- Building Connections: This is more than just a games night—it’s an opportunity to connect with others, make new friends, and be part of a community that celebrates and embraces neurodiversity.
- Parental Participation: Parents are welcome to stay if their support is needed by the participant. If not, they may leave or stay and connect with other parents in a supportive environment.
