Supporting parents, carers, families and kin of children and young people with complex mental health.

We offer free peer-led workshops and practical resources to help you bridge the gap between clinical care and everyday resilience.

Struggling to navigate the mental health system for your child? It can feel like you’re doing it all alone, but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Join Resilience in Reach for our series of free, 100% peer-led workshop across Queensland and online. Created and delivered by parents who have walked in your shoes, we provide the practical tools and community support you actually need.

No judgment, no clinical jargon – just real-life understanding and a path forward together for you and your child or young person.

By partnering with caregivers and youth throughout the development of our resources, our co-design framework integrates lived and living experience as a primary evidence base.

Approach to supporting autistic individuals

We recognise that for many families, the journey into the "system" begins with a diagnosis. However, we approach autism through a neurodiversity-affirming lens.

This means:
- Difference, not Deficit: We view neurological differences as a natural part of human diversity.
- The "Peer" Advantage: Because our project is co-designed by parents and carers who are also raising neurodivergent children and young people, we understand the specific nuances of "autistic burnout," "masking," and the exhaustion of systemic advocacy.
- Strengths-Based: We focus on the young person’s existing strengths and interests rather than a checklist of what they "can't" do.
