The Grow Hive Early Childhood Intervention

Sunshine Coast

ABN/ACN:

678307732

The Grow Hive is a private early childhood intervention service dedicated to supporting children with neurodivergence, including autism, and their families.

Our approach is holistic, neuro-affirming, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and their support network. We specialise in the ‘early years’ and love working closely with families of little ones.

Our services include:

  • Developmental Support and Intervention: We focus on fostering communication, social participation, emotional regulation, play, self-care, and community inclusion.
  • Parent and Educator Collaboration: We work closely with families, daycares, kindergartens, schools, and other care teams to ensure consistent and meaningful support across all environments.
  • Group Programs: Our small, highly supported groups support peer engagement, social-emotional development, and foundational skills in a fun, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming way.
  • Home and Community-Based Therapy: We provide flexible service delivery tailored to the child’s preferred environments and routines.
  • Functional Capacity Assessments and Reports: As a registered Developmental Educator, our director has the expertise to complete comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments and reports for children with autism, up to 10 years of age.

At The Grow Hive, we celebrate neurodiversity and empower children to develop confidence, skills, and independence in ways that respect and affirm their unique identities. Our programs are grounded in evidence-based practices while honouring the strengths and preferences of each child and family we support.

Approach to supporting autistic individuals:

At The Grow Hive, we recognise autism as a natural and important part of human neurodiversity. We understand that every autistic child has a unique way of experiencing, communicating, playing, and connecting with the world around them. We do not see autism as something to ‘fix’ but instead focus on truly understanding each child’s strengths, interests, sensory profile, and individual support needs.

Our approach centres on connection, safety, trust, and building strong partnerships with families so that each child feels valued, accepted, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

We create safe spaces for children to be themselves and empower children to express themselves in their own way and help others understand and respect this.
