Our Stafford Adults Peer Group is designed to empower Autistic people aged 25 and above, who are looking to gain a better understanding of their identity, share ideas and experiences with like-minded people, and explore strategies for everyday life.
Peer Groups are safe, inclusive spaces that empower Autistic people to express themselves authentically, develop social connections, and feel valued for who they are. Each group is supported by experienced volunteer facilitators, trained in autism-affirming practices – many of whom are Autistic or neurodivergent themselves.
While Adults Peer Groups typically lean towards a more informal format, meetings sometimes include optional activities such as crafts and board games, that provide oppurtunities to connect with one another, or more structured conversation segments, guided by our volunteers.
