Empowered Pathways is an Autism-affirming mentoring program providing individualised, 1:1 support for Autistic people at any stage of their employment journey. Mentees work alongside a consistent mentor to build independence, confidence and a sense of identity in the workplace – reenforcing lifelong skills that will support them to achieve their employment goals at any stage of their career journey.
Our mentors draw on a combination of Autism-affirming training and lived experience to support their mentees’ journeys. We try our best to match mentors with mentees based on shared interests, personality and lived experiences, to build the most impactful support system for each mentee.
An Empowered Pathways journey may include:
- 1-2 2 hour mentoring sessions per week
- Flexible meeting locations, local or online
- A combination of theoretical and practical skill building in areas that support your goals and interests.
Empowered Pathways provides one-on-one, Autism-affirming support tailored to your goals and your pace. Whether you’re taking your very first step into employment or finding your way back after time away, our mentors are here to walk alongside you.
