LEGO® Club uses structured LEGO building in a small group setting to support social connection, communication, collaboration, flexible thinking, and confidence in peer relationships. It’s particularly well suited to young people who connect better when there’s something to do with their hands… whether that’s autistic young people, those who feel anxious in group settings, or anyone who simply thrives with a more structured, activity-based approach. While the program is particularly well suited to neurodivergent young people, we warmly welcome all. All participants are thoughtfully matched to ensure each young person feels comfortable and the group dynamic works for everyone.
Groups run at Healing Hooves Inc. in Nerang, where horses and a donkey are often found watching curiously over the fence. Extended experiences with the animals are available by prior arrangement, adding an extra layer of calm and connection to the session environment.
Groups are facilitated by a registered Counsellor and certified LEGO-Based Therapy practitioner, kept deliberately small, because the best therapeutic work often happens when young people don’t realise it’s happening.
Cost is calculated using the NDIS Counsellor hourly rate divided by number of participants, plus NF2F where applicable. Same rate for private clients. Available to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. All pricing is in accordance with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
