Give your child’s language a BOOST in Term 2 and 3 with this fun and engaging term of group therapy.
Our very popular Language Group is spread out over 7 fortnights from the 18th of May up to and including the 24th of August. (Term 2 and 3) We are closed on the 10th of August for the Show Public Holiday therefore no group session will be run that day.
Skills targeted include:
- Listening comprehension and following directions
- Expressive vocabulary and concept development
- Procedural language (e.g. sequencing, explaining steps)
- Descriptive language (e.g. colour, smell, texture, purpose)
- Problem Solving
- Social Skills (sharing, waiting, asking for help)
- Planning, organisation, and attention
- Early written expression and symbolic representation
- Confidence with sharing ideas in a group
Suitable for children in grade 1-3.
