Our Stafford Women & Nonbinary Peer Group is designed to empower Autistic women, nonbinary and gender diverse adults to build connections, share stories and support one another in an Autism-affirming environment. Women and gender diverse people often face additional barriers when exploring their Autistic identity, making connecting with those of similar experiences even more valuable.
Our Stafford Women & Nonbinary Peer Group is supported by experienced volunteer facilitators, trained in autism-affirming practices – many of whom are Autistic or neurodivergent themselves. While the group typically lean towards a more informal format, meetings sometimes include optional activities such as crafts and board games that provide frameworks for participants to connect with one another, or more structured conversation segments, guided by our volunteers.
