Creative Mornings with Horses is a small-group school holiday program for preteens and teens aged 10 and up, held at Healing Hooves Inc in Nerang. Each session combines hands-on art and craft activities with gentle, unstructured time around horses and a donkey in a peaceful paddock setting.
Sessions are designed with a calmer pace and smaller group size in mind, making them a good fit for young people who find busy, high-stimulation environments overwhelming. No horse experience is needed, and there is no riding involved.
Groups are capped at 6 participants and facilitated by Deb Boath, an ACA registered counsellor, alongside the Healing Hooves equine specialist. Each week features a different activity, so participants are welcome to attend one session or both.
