New LEGO® Club 16+ is now open for expressions of interest.
A small, structured group for older teens and young adults, built around genuine connection and low-pressure social interaction, no forced eye contact, no small talk pressure, just a shared focus and a predictable structure to build on.
Groups for the next intake will be confirmed by Friday 18th September, ready to start the week of 5th October. Small groups of 3, weekly 90-minute sessions, held at Healing Hooves Inc in Nerang (with horses and a donkey keeping watch over the fence). Groups are thoughtfully formed based on participants’ needs, and session days/times will be worked out in collaboration with those who express interest.
LEGO® Club uses structured LEGO building in a small group setting to support social connection, communication, collaboration, flexible thinking, and confidence in peer relationships. It’s particularly well suited to young people who connect better when there’s something to do with their hands… whether that’s autistic people, those who feel anxious in group settings, or anyone who simply thrives with a more structured, activity-based approach. While the program is particularly well suited to neurodivergent young people, we warmly welcome all. All participants are thoughtfully matched to ensure each young person feels comfortable and the group dynamic works for everyone.
Groups are facilitated by a registered Counsellor and certified LEGO-Based Therapy practitioner, kept deliberately small, because the best therapeutic work often happens when young people don’t realise it’s happening.
Cost is calculated using the NDIS Counsellor hourly rate divided by number of participants, plus NF2F where applicable. Same rate for private clients. Available to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. All pricing is in accordance with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
